What is Open Access?

Open Access is a new physician referral service, created by the UNC Center for Heart & Vascular Care, which coordinates all admissions and transfers through a single phone call and guarantees immediate acceptance for patients. Designed for the convenience of our referring physicians and their staff, the Open Access service also facilitates consultation and collaboration with our team of Heart & Vascular physicians.

Our vision with Open Access is to simplify the process for our referring providers and ultimately offer easy access for patients to the world-class Heart & Vascular resources at UNC Health Care.
