The UNC Heart Center at Meadowmont
The UNC Division of Cardiology operates their outpatient clinic off-site in Meadowmont Village (approximately 3 miles from the main hospital). Referrals and new patient appointments are accepted for general and subspecialty cardiology. The subspecialties available are Electrophysiology, Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplantation, Interventional Cardiology, Hypertension, Hyperlipidemia, and Women’s Heart Disease. The clinic is open from 8 AM-5 PM Monday through Friday. New patient and referral appointments are available generally without a delay. On-site laboratory services, ECG, stress testing, rest and stress echocardiography, arrhythmia monitoring, device monitoring, nuclear stress testing and peripheral vascular ultrasound are available. There is no charge for parking. Appointments can be made by calling (919) 966-7244 or by FAXing a referral to the clinic to (919) 966-7322.
